Maybe you were diagnosed with ADHD years ago, but the sensory overwhelm, social exhaustion, and need for routine never quite fit. Or maybe you have always suspected ADHD, but your attention struggles come with traits that ADHD doesn't account for. Autism and ADHD co-occur far more often than most people realize, and when both are present, they can hide each other.
Here at Haven Health, we specialize in evaluating late-diagnosed, high-masking adults, including women, femme and queer people, for ADHD, autism, and AuDHD (both together). Our approach is neuro-affirming: the goal is an accurate, validating understanding of how your brain works, and practical recommendations that make life work better for you.
Located in the Salmon Creek neighborhood off I-5, our clinic is easily accessible from throughout Clark County, including Hazel Dell, Felida, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Orchards, Camas, and Washougal. We also welcome patients from the greater Portland metropolitan area, and telehealth appointments are available if you would rather not travel.

Why AuDHD Is So Often Missed
Autism and ADHD can pull in opposite directions. ADHD craves novelty while autism craves routine; ADHD can make you impulsive in conversation while autism makes you study social rules. The result is that each neurotype can hide the other, and many people receive only one diagnosis, or neither, for decades.
Women and high-masking adults are even more likely to be missed. Inattentive ADHD and internalized autistic traits are easy to mistake for anxiety, depression, or a personality quirk, especially when you have worked hard to appear organized and socially at ease.

Our evaluations are structured to capture a complete picture of your attention, executive function, sensory and social experience, and daily challenges.
Clinical Interview
A detailed conversation about your history, current challenges, work and relationships. We look for patterns that trace back to childhood, even if they were never recognized.
Standardized Testing
Validated, adult-specific tools that measure attention, working memory, and executive function, plus autism instruments when you are being assessed for both.
Differential Diagnosis
We carefully assess for conditions that can mimic or co-occur with ADHD, including anxiety, depression, autism, sleep disorders, and trauma responses.
Report and Feedback
A detailed written report with your diagnosis, recommendations, and medication suggestions for your prescriber, reviewed with you in a dedicated feedback session.

From I-5
Take Exit 9 for NE 134th Street. Head east on NE 134th Street. Our office is on the right side, between the La Quinta Inn and the car wash. Free parking is available directly in front of the building.
From Portland, OR
Head north on I-5 across the Interstate Bridge. Continue to Exit 9 (NE 134th Street). The drive from downtown Portland is typically 15-20 minutes. Our Salmon Creek location offers a calm environment away from the congestion of downtown.
From East Clark County
Coming from Camas, Washougal, or Battle Ground, take SR-14 West or I-205 to I-5 North, then Exit 9. Alternatively, use NE 134th Street westbound from the Highway 99 corridor.
Public Transit
C-TRAN bus routes serve the Salmon Creek corridor along NE 134th Street. C-TRAN Express buses connect downtown Portland to the Vancouver area for those without a car.
